Packing!
I brought one small shoulder bag and one large rucksack.

- train tickets, passport, money (1 euro is approximately 40 Russian rubles)
- letters and envelopes (I will buy lots of postcards along the way)
- many books to read during these next weeks
- a few photographs of family and friends
- a notebook and pencil case and sketch-book,crafts for the train
- first aid kit and basics
- Russian guidebooks which include maps of Yekaterinburg and Krasnoyarsk (which are the two cities I will stop at)
- English to Russian dictionary( which includes some basic phrases)
- my laptop and charger
- camera and charger my ipod and headphones
- Very,very warm clothes against the extreme cold temperatures such as: two large fur hats, three pairs of leather padded waterproof gloves with fur, two cotton scarves, a large winter coat, snow pants,warm snow boots with treads and fur and wool inlayed in the boots, very warm jackets and sweaters and corduroy pants.
